Feliz Ano Nuevo! I had a pretty interesting New Years… We had to be inside at 7pm so me and Hermana Anderson thought we could just have some time to relax and listen to music. But we were wrong…There were people in our apartment complex shooting guns. They were super close to our apartment and super drunk. We were so scared and didnt want to be next to any windows which is impossible in our apartment so we stayed in the closet all night. Good thing we had some sparkling apple cider though 🙂 Cheers to Sunnyside!
Also huge miracle, MIKE GOT BAPTIZED! Hes been working so hard to stop his addictions and he did it! It was amazing to hear his testimony. He called us his angels in his testimony. The best part of his testimony was when he said that he changed in an addiction that had been going on for 30 years in only 2 1/2 months and that he knows it only happened because it was a miracle of the Lord. I cant even begin to describe how it felt to see this change in him and see him dedicate his life to Jesus Christ. He was so ready and he did his part to get there. I know that this gospel changes lives. I know that Faith, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end are THE ONLY WAY. It is HIS WAY. Its the only way we can have joy, its the only way we have hope. Its the ONLY way back to our Heavenly Father. This is why im here in my mission. Im here to help my brothers and sisters return back to him. This is my purpose and ill never give up. Its written on my heart! One day i wont be a full time missionary anymore but that wont change anything it will still be my purpose. I hope that its written on your heart and that you see the importance of bringing that one soul unto Christ ( D & C 18:10,15-16)
